SR-52B Luft (uncolored) by Keydan SR-52B Luft (uncolored) by Keydan
SR-52B Luft is an assault robot developed by Schwarzrturm industries for competing in Federal defense tryout for a new autonomous weapons system.

Luft was originally developed by Schwarzrturm sister company, Wessturm, as a heavy worker-loader for high gravity worlds. The robot had a durable inner frame and good maintenance to work time ratio. Schwarzrturm took that concept and build upon it a machine capable or combat, by reenforcing it's outer frame with armor, adding weapon systems and a capable, yet limited AI. They picked the name Luft as a polar opposite to the Erde-class Battle walker developed by Reptacorp, for the same tryouts.

Luft stands roughly 3m tall with a total mass of not exceeding 1tonn. It's speed and agility is limited yet on par with most autonomous combat robots. Weapon-wise the machine is more than capable to take on infantry, other robots and lightly armored vehicles. Certain modifications are also capable of taking light mechs in combat.
